If you become a client, your care is also governed by the intake, consent, and policy documents you receive from us, including our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

No therapist–client relationship

Visiting this website, reading its content, submitting a contact form, sending an email or text message, or booking a free consultation does not create a therapist–client or other professional relationship with The Calm Planet or any of our clinicians. A professional relationship begins only after we have mutually agreed to work together and you have completed our intake and informed consent process.

Not for emergencies

The Calm Planet provides scheduled telehealth services and does not provide emergency or crisis services. Our website, contact form, email, and text messaging are not monitored for emergencies. If you are in crisis or experiencing a mental health emergency, call 911, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or go to your nearest emergency room.

These SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions apply to text messages sent by The Calm Planet from our practice number, (860) 850-0020.

The Calm Planet may send text messages regarding appointment scheduling, appointment reminders, and other practice-related communications that you have authorized.
